5Great introductory RC Helicopter!
By jvr1986
This is my first RC heli. I purchased it on a whim for Christmas and it is absolutely fantastic. I did quite a bit of research on RC helicopters because I've never thought about getting one until then. Some key things I've learned through research and experience with the S022 are:

1)This is NOT a gyro heli. It is slightly more difficult to fly and for a beginner who enjoys a challenge it's perfect. (Average flight time is 7-10 minutes and 45-60 minutes charge time for a full charge.)

2)It has two engines and a surprising amount of power versus single prop RC helicopters in the same price range. Another thing to note is it is louder then single props. (This is also something I enjoy.)

3)This is a very durable RC heli. I've crashed this into most everything and dropped it from a two story living room without incident. I've broken only one part (the cheapest to replace) but I'll touch on that next.

4)Warnings: I mentioned breaking a part which just so happen to be the S022-22 Connect Buckle for one of the propellers. The S022 comes with two buckles attached (one on each prop) with mounts for four. Most heli's from Syma come with four, but not the S022. The real problem is when these small, plastic buckles break and you don't have a replacement (unless you have two on each prop so the second can act as a spare) you can't fly. (It won't balance.) Another thing to note is this crash was not my fault, but the fault of a random radio signal. Every so often I'll get some kind of interference between my remote and the heli and it will not respond and do what "it" wants. The incident that broke the buckle involved something telling my heli to rocket into the ceiling at full speed. This happens rarely but is annoying enough to note.

On a final note: Should you need spare parts shop around. A good example would be my buckle (S022-22) which was anywhere from 4-8 dollars EACH. (Five cents worth of plastic maybe.) Sometimes those prices didn't reflect shipping! Ultimately I found a decent source (xheliDOTcom) for them, but I still strongly recommend shopping around before buying any spare parts.

5GREAT QUALITY, WORTH THE MONEY
By DUMPLIN88
I BOUGHT IT FOR MY BOYFRIEND FOR VALENTINES AND HE LOVES IT. QUICK LEARNER, THE HELICOPTER IS A LITTLE HARD TO FLY FOR SOMEONE WITH NO EXPERIENCE.
