My 5 year old inspired by me flying a high end helicopter has wanted his own helicopter. The reality is that no respectable RC helicopter can be flown by a 5 year old straight out of the box without significant damage. So I was reluctant to purchase one. But every time he mentioned what he wanted for Christmas he said anRC helicopter.
So I decided to begin a search for the best suitable helicopter. There were other options, but I wanted something that would last if treated well and that could have replacement parts.
I am amazed at how stable this helicopter flies. Both my 5 year old and 7 year old will be able to pick this up quickly. I have started with me holding the sticks to limit the action they can input, but allow them to fly the helicopter within those limits.
This toys is a blast. Flight time is about 7 minutes. It takes about 30 minutes to charge the lipo. Flies forward, backward, rotates left or right, and altitude can be controlled.
I have flown other coaxial helicopters and this was by far the most stable.
If you have little or no helicopter experience and want a stable, reasonably priced helicopter, this one is a great choice!

Fun helicopter but not as fine tuned as I expect from Blade. Still a solid flying indoor heli for beginners.

This was a gift for our grandson who is learning to fly remote aircraft. His original was a cheapy and he really loved the upgrade.
